Managing Director

“Franny” as he is affectionately called by all who know him, has the responsibility of ensuring the company’s overall performance is in line with BWL’s mission and vision.

Ethelyn N. Davis

Operations Manager

Ethelyn’s core focus is the Operations Department which has direct oversight of the special events, solid waste (commercial and residential collections),  and portable toilet divisions.  Client retention and satisfaction are also major priorities for Ethelyn.

Ernestine Lloyd

Human Resources Manager

Ms.  Lloyd leads the H.R. programs and policies as they apply to recruiting, hiring and training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, safety, counseling, performance and staffing levels.

Heather Mackey

Assistant Operations Manager

Heather is Bahamas Waste’s Assistant Operations Manager with responsibility for Roll Off collections, a task which she executes along with the 23 employees in her charge. Heather’s department covers everything from construction & demolition containers to cruise ship operations to large compactor collections from hotels, resorts, and local grocers as well. 

 

Rob Evans

Vehicle Maintenance Manager

Rob and his team of trained mechanics, keep our fleet rolling in pristine condition, seven days a week.

Joanna Higgs

Assistant Operations Manager

Joanna is the Assistant Operations Manager with responsibility for Rear Load collections. With a staff of some 60 persons under her purview, she ensures that collections take place for small restaurants and other local business establishments, as well as government. residential and private residential collections.

Nicola Gibson

Equipment Maintenance Manager

Nicola and her team, are responsible for ensuring all the equipment at our customer site, are functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Erica Symonette

Assistant Medical Waste Manager

Erica oversees the daily operations of the team to ensure that all calls are dispatched in an efficient and timely manner. Her team is responsible for all bio-hazardous waste, and they have the pleasure of ensuring that our customers are safe from the associated hazards.

Xavier Cartwright

Health & Safety Manager

Xavier is responsible for the day to day health and safety of the company.  This responsibility includes all standard operating procedures in addition to providing proper personal protective gear.

Brenville Ferguson

Special Events Coordinator

Brenville is tasked with organizing special events and their requirements, whether that be Junkanoo or Carnival FIFA beach soccer etc.   He is also responsible for the Portable Services Department, it’s a dirty job, but his team handles it with ease.

Godfrey Rolle

Ground Traffic Controller

Responsible for monitoring, overseeing two-way radio installations, repair of two-way radios, and their components, radio communications, reporting of same and route efficiency.
